THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE has smashed all previous box office records with its South African release taking a spine tingling R12,8m on the opening weekend.
Opening on Wednesday the 30th of June 2010 the movie grossed R2,3m in one day, surpassing the previous best, Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (R1,9m) as well Shrek 2 (R2m).
This is proof that South Africans love fantasy and science fiction. It must be from beliefs such as tokoloshes and stuff.
