Bryan Adams will come back to Delhi: Suniel Shetty
By Subhash K. Jha
Mumbai, Feb 16 (IANS) Bryan Adams will "definitely" come back to Delhi, according to Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty whose wife supports NGO Save the Children for which funds are being raised with the singer's concerts in India."He's (Bryan's) definitely coming back to Delhi. We won't disappoint his fans, " Shetty said.
"I didn't know Bryan before he came to India for the current concerts. He's a really chilled-out guy. Truly 18 forever at heart. No one was shedding tears over the cancelled concert, " he added.
Bryan Adams's concert in Delhi Tuesday was cancelled as a No Objection Certificate (NOC) was not given to it by the police due to security reasons. Bryan Adams has teamed up with Netsurf Entertainment to raise funds for Save the Children India.
But Shetty seemed unperturbed.
"We're in the process of setting a new date for the Delhi concert. Bryan performs in Hyderabad. Then he heads for Bangladesh and Nepal. We'll set a new date for Delhi concert as soon as he finishes his other commitments, " he said.
Looking at the positive side of the fiasco, Shetty said: "Good that the rains happened before the Delhi concert."
"Imagine if it had happened during the concert. All of Bryan's musical equipment would've been destroyed. It isn't such a loss, really. We will set a date for the Delhi concert at the earliest, " he said.
