Top-10 positions are all well and good, but I want to see some real hord-core unit figures that fully show the penetration the iMac G5 is having.
Obviously I won't get that, but it's what I want anyway.

Just wondered if anyone had any font management recommendations?
Put fonts that you want to use in your User > Library > Font folder.
When you're done using that font, take it out of your User > Library > Font folder.
Don't use any other font management tools.

Thanks for the tip about PhoneGap.
The part I'm least confident about is the networking (mobile devices connecting to the Mac without any of them having Internet access). I'm not a networking expert so I'm unclear what I need to do.

i have four LaCie d2 form factor drives in a LaCie desk rack. I've used d2's for years, no problems whatsoever. They are quiet and reliable, and, if you're getting more than one eventually, the rack is very nice.

Just a quick question... I downloaded the SMP Intel version for my MacBook Pro, but I can't figure out how to pause it! Last night I did a ctrl-c (quit) and it closed out... but this morning it started all over! What on earth is the "pause" command?
(yes I know I don't need to stop it for most things, but I like to at night and while I study because of the extra noise it creates.)
Well since its beta there is bound to be problems. For example in the last version (non-public beta) there was problems with check points BIG problems so the current version does not have them, so i you stop it, it will start over. Of coarse this will be fixed in time. Also another bug if you disable airport folding stops......

Also that is one sure way to fry your Mac. Power surge can happen at any time.. Do you really trust those $100 surge boards for 24/7 use or do you have UPS.
Also think of how much dust gets in there...
Not smart to leave your computer on 24/7.

1. It's because you're mirroring. Mirroring limits the resolution to the native res of the lower res display. Unchecking that will allow you to use the native res of the monitor, and you get the functionality of dual screens as well.
2. Drag the bottom right corner to make it full screen. That should make it so that the green button maximizes a small window in that app.

You CANNOT install windows 7 from an external drive.. Microsoft is to blame for this one as they prefer to have you install it from an internal drive.. I believe there is a way to get it to boot from a USB flash drive, but it requires a whole lot of tweaking to get it to work.. Not worth it, in my opinion.. OS X is a whole different story, however - that can be installed from virtually any external drive or flash drive.
its for my gfs parents they need ie to watch dabdate.com streaming. If I could get it to stream on os x I would do it in a heart beat even bought flip4mac.

I know that it has the i before Phone but thousands of products exsist with the i before product names. It's only because Apple wants the name. Hypothetically if you made a computer screen and called it iScreen. Then if apple made a screen and wanted to use your name How would you feel if they took it from you due to their stronger legal forces? Not happy I presume. That is the same thing happening to Cisco. I do have an idea which could help Apple. If they want to hear it they can email me.

Ever since updating to 4.3.1 this no longer works for me. It doesnt seem like the dev is going to fix it anytime soon either.. are there alternatives?

I generally advise people to avoid having their camera gear on a homeowner's rider anyway- the last thing you want is the HO insurance canceled because of a claim. Talk to any licensed insurance agent- Traveller's has a nice "personal professional property" policy, or just ask about an "inland marine" policy for your gear.

It�s because all 2011 iMac will be eligilbe for upgrade to Lion for free, or at least with discount, maybe $29 only via Mac App Store so they can directly check who eligible for one and who�s not. If you want to get the shiny retail box, it may cost $129.
That should be it .. so I wouldn�t worry too much about Lion, let�s hope I�m not wrong okay :D

Thank you for your advice and help. However, because this particular iMac G4 didn't look so good, I am no longer interested in it. I did, though, buy an iMac G5 17" (1.8 GHz with Bluetooth Keyboard & Mouse) for $328.95. Earlier today, I tried to bid on a iMac G5 with an Intel processor that was running Snow Leopard. I lost by $5.01! :( I wanted that one so badly!

He didn�t do anything to prove them wrong, just some rhetorics in that regard, noisy patriotic screaming live on CNN.
Don�t misunderstand me: I don�t hate Armstrong, but to me his behaviour seems to be troublesome at the least. Indeed he did nothing serious, nor anything productive and helpful to falsify those completely fact based accusations. Those results aren�t made up by the french because they hate him.
Actually he behaves quite like Mariah Jones, e.g., or similar doping cases in the last few years. Something seems to be wrong, and probably not only in terms of the 1999 tour.
