Portman Feels she is just Like An Old Hag
Oscar favourite Natalie Portman feels like an "old hag", because she's been working as an actress for almost 20 years. The Black Swan star kickstarted her career as a child model, before working on Broadway and landing her first film role in controversial 1994 movie Leon when she was just 12 years old.
After working tirelessly for the last two decades, Portman has been lauded for her role as a deranged dancer in the ballet thriller, winning several honours and becoming favourite to walk away with the Best Actress Academy Award later this month (Feb11).

But Portman admits she's struggling to cope with all the sudden acclaim because she's been around for so long.
She tells the Los Angeles Times, "I made my first movie when I was 11. I'm an old hag. I guess it's pretty common with actors, to be doing this for 18 years, but it's extreme. "I feel like I'm on another planet or something right now.
It's not quite sinking in.
I feel really lucky.
It's something that's completely wonderful, and I have a very definite goal I'm working toward with that".

Natalie Portman says lesbian sex scene was hard
Natalie Portman has revealed that her much-hyped sex scene with Mila Kunis in their new flick Black Swan was hard. Walking the red carpet to promote the Darren Arronofsky film, Portman admitted that shooting the graphic love scene was confronting, according to the Huffington Post."It's hard to have a sex scene, period. It doesn't matter if it's a friend, a male, a female," News.com.au quoted her as saying. "You're with 100-something crew members, lighting you, repositioning you, there's no comfort whatsoever," she said.
Last month, Kunis slammed reports that the pair had downed tequila together before their risqué shoot. "I don't think we could have done that scene if we were intoxicated," she told People at the time.
Both Kunis and Portman have discussed their gruelling training regimes for the film that saw them lose drastic amounts of weight. Five to eight hours a day of cross-training and swimming for a year saw both the petite stars shed 10kg each off their slight frames.

Natalie Portman left red-faced at awards ceremony
Hollywood actress Natalie Portman was left red-faced at the Environmental Media Awards after organisers aired a clip of her singing about recycling when she was just 11 years old.The actress was presenting a prize at the ceremony in Burbank, California, Saturday when footage of her as a youngster, dancing and singing about the benefits of recycling, began to roll, reports eonline.com
Portman laughed off the embarrassing gag and went on to hand the EMA Corporate Responsibility Award to Jeff Skoll, producer of "The Cove" and environmental movie "The Crazies".
Veteran Hollywood star Jane Fonda also showed up to honour her ex-husband Ted Turner for his foundation's work in stopping female genital mutilation.
The ceremony, which pays tribute to TV and films with a positive environmental message, also saw James Cameron's "Avatar" win the top movie prize.
Hit sitcom "30 Rock" and TV drama "Bones" were both honoured for episodes which tackled conservation themes, while HBO documentary "Gasland", about natural gas drilling in the US, was also celebrated.

NYC: Rodarte Front Row
Marc Jacobs didn't have celebrities on the front row this season, which took him out of the running for the most impressive front row lineup. Rodarte is in with a good chance of winning though; they invited Kirsten, Natalie and Chloe. I think everyone has a girl-crush on at least one of these lovely ladies, no?

From top left: Kirsten Dunst and Jason Schwartzman; Natalie Portman; Chloë Sevigny and Humberto Leon; Julia Restoin-Roitfeld; Anna Dello Russo; Derek Blasberg and Jen Brill.
As for the clothes, I liked. I'm a big fan of Rodarte, but this was in no way my favourite collection Laura and Kate have produced. The Rodarte look is well established now (and other designers sneakily take 'inspiration' from them too) so there was nothing too surprise this season.

But then I'm not that great at change anyway. And I loved the dreamy colour palette and angelic white dresses. It was a beautiful collection, and I'm sure Natalie and Kirsten will wear a few pieces between them on the red carpets this year.
