Heidi Blair Pratt (born Heidi Blair Montag; September 15, 1986) is an American reality television personality. She is known for starring on the former MTV reality series The Hills. At one point, the series, which aired from May 2006 through July 2010, followed the life of her former friend and housemate, Lauren Conrad, then later followed Kristin Cavallari, another friend of Montag's.
During The Hills, Montag began dating cast member Spencer Pratt. In November 2008, the couple eloped to Mexico, though they later married in the United States, in April 2009. In July 2010, Montag filed for divorce after fifteen months of marriage to Pratt. However, the couple later called off the divorce.
Starting in 2007, she began a financially unsuccessful music career. Her first studio album, Superficial, was released in January 2010.
Personal life
Heidi was born in Crested Butte, Colorado on September 15, 1986. After graduating from high school, she moved to California where she enrolled at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Holly Montag is Heidi's older sister by about three years. On March 3, 2008, Montag's stepbrother Eric O'Hara was killed in an accidental fall from an icy roof. O'Hara was a veteran of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and served in the 82nd Airborne Division.
In 2006, she began dating Spencer Pratt. In May 2007, Heidi and Spencer announced their engagement. During The Hills season finale in December 2007, Heidi and Spencer broke off their engagement. On November 20, 2008, Montag and Spencer had a marriage ceremony in Mexico. No family members were present and the wedding ceremony lasted 15 minutes. Montag and Pratt married a second time on April 25, 2009 in Pasadena, California. On June 8, 2010, Heidi filed for legal separation from Pratt, listing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their separation. On July 30, 2010, Montag filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences in the petition. However, the couple called off the divorce in September 2010. In November 2010, Montag and Pratt announced that the reason behind the couple's divorce was to help Montag's career. Later that November, Montag and Pratt renewed their wedding vows.

During freshman orientation, she met Lauren Conrad, who was then a featured cast member on the MTV reality series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. After the two transferred to Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, Conrad received her own spin-off series The Hills, which premiered on May 31, 2006. She eventually left the Fashion Institute in fall of 2005 when she was hired at Bolthouse Productions.According to Montag, she dropped out because she "did not find the school challenging." Within two years, she was promoted to event planner at Bolthouse.
Montag went on to star in the sixth and final season of The Hills. However, the fourth episode of the season marked Heidi and Spencer's last appearance in the series. Spencer had threatened to kill a series producer, and was supposed to return to the series after anger management. However, his behavior worsened, which lead to them being completely removed from the cast. Montag had also filed charges against "The Hills" creator Adam Divello claiming sexual harassment.
In April 2009, Montag signed on to appear on the reality series I'm a Celebrity... Get Me out of Here!. Her appearance on the show, alongside husband Spencer, was criticized after the couple claimed they were subject to torture and left the show's set multiple times before returning and ultimately withdrawing.

Heidi Montag's boob comes out of bikini in Costa Rica
Former Hills star Heidi Montag looked vaguely horrified when one of her pneumatic breasts nearly escaped from her top as she splashed around in the Costa Rican surf. The 25-year-old star frantically tried to keep things covered up when the bikini malfunction occurred, reports the Daily Mail.Fortunately, she recovered enough to walk down the beach displaying her surgically enhanced figure in blue bikini top and red patterned bottoms with no further mishaps. The slip up may have given Montag more reason to regret having made her breasts so big - she recently confessed she is already thinking of having her G cups reduced.

Hefner's ex claims Pratt stole her sex tape with Montag
Hugh Hefner's ex-girlfriend Karissa Shannon has claimed that Heidi Montag's estranged husband Spencer Pratt has stolen the sex tape she had made with 'The Hills' star. Shannon told RadarOnline.com "there is a sex tape of me and Heidi," adding that Pratt was not present when they shot the footage."It's just me and Heidi, that's it," Fox News quoted her as saying. Pratt threatened to release a sex tape of Montag earlier this month, but Shannon argues that he is not the tapes owner, claiming he stole her camera when he picked some of his items from Montag's Malibu home.
"Me and Heidi were hanging out at her house in Malibu and he came over to pick up some stuff and he 'accidentally' took my camera. I talk to Heidi every single day and I tried to be there for her when she was going through her divorce, but now it's starting to affect my life. Spencer had no right to steal my camera. There are other things on there that I don't want to come out, including the video of me and Heidi," Shannon added.
Shannon told TMZ she plans to sue Pratt if he tries to sell the tape. She also said there were other things on the video she would prefer the world not see. According to TMZ, Pratt is shopping the tape to Vivid Entertainment.
