After Preity Zinta, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee, now it’s Bipasha Basu who is going to play the role of a commercial sex worker. The very famous director Sudipto Chattopadhyay, who is awaiting his film Pankh’s release, has offered another role to the Bengali beauty Bipasha Basu for his next venture “Sonagachi“.
Sonagachi is one of the Asia’s largest red light districts in Kolkata with more than 10,000 sex workers. The movie will be based on the story of a prosititute living in sonagachi, who raises a child suffering from Paraphilia. The movie will revolve around the hardships faced by the protagonist in raising the child.
Bipasha Basu is known for playing bold roles across various films such as Jism, Ajnabee, No Entry, and more. So playing a bolder role for yet another film would not be that difficult for her.
