Kajol ups her price to Rs 2.5 crores

Golden girl: After diamonds, Kajol graced Gold, at the Festival of Gold in New Delhi.
Branded: Kajol's tryst with jewelry endorsement was limited to diamonds, as she became the brand ambassador for Asmi diamond jewelry in 2005

Ad world: While co-stars like Shah Rukh Khan got into endorsements very early in their careers, Kajol refrained for a long time. Her first appearance in an ad was for just barely a glimpse in a Pepsi ad.


More ads: Now however, things have changed, Kajol is seen in a number of ad campaigns, like Whirlpool, Marie biscuits, Asmi and Tata Indicom.

Milestone in the movies: Kajol was the leading lady of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (1995), the longest running films in the history of Indian cinema. It is one of two Hindi films included in the 1001 Films You Must Watch Before You Die list.
