Hi,
I need a REALLY cool iphone case. Kinda like the Switch Easy stuff, just a little thinner. Thanks!
Have you looked into the switcheasy Naked? It is a switchasy itself and one of the thinnest cases ever.
Problem is like most plastic cases, it will look like it went through war after just a few weeks of use.
If you don't like that one what switcheasy case you like so I can see If I know of a similar one that is slimmer.

Here is a sample of what you are looking at if you get the screen replaced.iPhone Screen Repair (http://techrestore.com/xcart/product.php?productid=18174&cat=359&page=1)
Thanks, but this is my backup phone. I know I can probably replace the LCD and sell it for higher but I'd rather just sell it outright. The best offer I received is $240, will sell for $245 + shipping if anyone here is interested.

I know this may seem oftopic but I have questions concerning copyright images and trademarks. More specifically, I am a freelance artist and I occasionally a customer will request me to paint their child's favorite cartoon character.... I've gotten mixed feedback so far on the regulations for such things, and I have other questions relating to this post. This is my first time being on here and I'm not to familiar with how it works, so if you could email me at dilligafanyhoo@hotmail.com with your suggestions and knowledge I would really appreciate it. Thanks so much!

I am having a bit of a problem with my Mail.
I have about 10 accounts set up and recently two of them have started constantly telling me that the server has refused the password and to enter it again. Sometimes I have to enter it 10 times, sometimes i even need to quit mail to clear it. It only happens when I leave mail open for a long time.
The tricky thing is... All 10 accounts are on the same mail server. So it's not a server issue. To further prove this, it doesn't happen on my G5 just on my PowerBook. I've tried to drop the accounts and readd them, deleted the entries out of Keychain...
iI dont want to trash the prefs file unless I have to cause I'll have to set up ALL my accounts again!
Any ideas?
Thanks

I'm doing a website that will have some Flash animation in it. Is there a way to have it to where the browser can be checked to see if it has the Flash Player to view the Flash animation, then if it doesn't have it, a JPEG or GIF of the same dimensions as the Flash animation will be put in it's place?
Any help is appreciated :)

It's always hard to say.... personally, I've always bought my new macs after a new release.... but it depends how much you need that powerbook right now.

Hey everyone, first post here, and also a Mac noob, so I apologize if this is in the wrong section :)
I am trying to enable file sharing in OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. I intend to share files on my MacBook with other Windows and Linux computers on my home network. From what I understand, the procedure is as follows:
1) Open up System Preferences and click on Sharing under Internet & Wireless
2) Click on File Sharing on the left, and then add a folder to be shared. After doing this, three Users appear on the right: System Administrator, Administrator, and Everyone (all have read/write access).
3) I want my folder to be password-protected and accessible only to specific users, so I change the permissions for Everyone to No Access. I then add a user (sharing only account) with a specified username and password.
4) I click on Options and select the "Share files and folders using SMB (Windows)", and enable SMB sharing for the user that I created in the previous step. I click on Done, and exit System Preferences.
After performing the above steps, I go to my Linux computer and attempt to connect to the shared folder on my Macbook. I was surprised to be able to access the folder without being prompted for a username and password. The same thing can be seen on my Windows computer.
I went back into Systems Preferences/Sharing on my MacBook, and noticed that the user that I had created has disappeared from the Users list, and all the permissions have been reverted to the default Read & Write Access (including Everyone, which I had changed to No Access earlier). I tried the above procedure again and still ended up with the same result.
Why are the user permissions not being saved? Has anyone here experienced a similar issue?

Hi ,
I have in my .xib file two views,
one is the main view that connected to the view outlet from the file's owner and
the second one I named ABC from the code
-IBOutlet UIView *ABC;
my question is how do I call the ABC view from another class if ABC view isn't
connected to the "view" outlet from the file's owner
I can call the main view from another class
LoginRegisterViewController *viewController = [[LoginRegisterViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"LoginRegisterViewController" bundle:nil];
self.loginRegisterViewController = viewController;
[viewController release];

[1] 0
Why am I only getting 1 answer?
Thanks in advance,
Ernie
One of the hardest things to remember when using R compared to other programming languages, is that almost everything you do is a vector operation. When you do q <- 0, R is going to apply the "<- 0" to the entire vector of q. And if you haven't created q before this, q will just be set equal to either 0 or 1. What you're asking R to do is if any value in socscore is less or equal to than 3, assign 0 to q, otherwise assign 1 to q. I'm assuming you want q to be a vector of 0's and 1's corresponding to whether socscore <= 3 or not?
There are a couple ways to do that. You can either use a loop:
q <- rep(NA, length(socscore))
for ( i in 1:length(socscore) {

Is it possible to change the processor on the current Quad Core Mac Pro to the processor a 12-Core Mac Pro has. I mean, I will buy the processor from a website and install it on the Quad Core Mac Pro. Is that possible? Thank you for the responses in advance.

FAQ:
1) original/replacement/refurbish which one is best?
Since you have spent so much on MBP why not choose the original one.
If you bought used MBP, too old to buy a new original, you can choose Grade A replacement or a refurbish seller you trust.
2) Why I can't track original adapters from Apple Store?
If not buy from Apple directly, most time you can't. Apple don't accept it in fact, because these adapters get from OEM directly.
Trading Companies call it Gray Market, most original adapters are not brand new. QC from Apple is very strict, adapter with little scratch or even a tiny spot should be destoryed. And that's maybe what you get.
If some friends have more questions pls leave your message.

Anyone wanting to take up the challenge of developing a replacement for WinClone I would like to speak to them.
I am talking about a commercial (PAID) engagement to write software that I would then have IP ownership over and would sell commercially. Happy to discuss revenue share models or straight $ for doing the job.
There are some additional features over and above current WinClone I would like to discuss.
NB: I am also canvasing recruitment agencies for a contractor to do this, plan to have something in place by middle of May, so first come first served.
