Well...I was half right...

Funny story. A couple of days ago, when I wrote up a post about the film The Mist, I said that although I thought it was great, I wouldn't be surprised if it opened well...

but then goes down due to bad word of mouth

...because I recognized there was an element or two that some might find unappealing. Heh. Funny story. The Mist:

...premiered in ninth-place with $9.1 million for the weekend and $13 million since Wednesday.

Oh, well...at least this means the DVD shouldn't be long in coming. Maybe I can see if I'm right about a certain scene that felt missing...
